WOADS at the KMT for A Bolt From The Blue
Bolt From The Blue
The cast and crew are now at the KMT preparing for the production of A Bolt From The Blue that opens this Thursday (4th April).

Edward, the hero, is a modest, unremarkable electricity pylon repair man whom fate causes to be struck by lightning and to survive, only to discover that, fantastically lucky though he may have been, the fate that awaits him thereafter may not be quite so happy, for a number of reasons ...
After the miraculous escape and his discover of the stranger side of his accident, Edward leaves home, encountering on his journey a number of increasingly bizarre characters, all of whom have the best intentions towards him but whos actions are not always to his advantage. This could also be said of the other, non-human characters, especially an incontinent but invisible dog!

The play manages to be both funny and thought provoking and we are sure you will leave the theatre with a smile on your face! Many experienced WOADS folk are appearing, including Jay Berry, fresh from her Best Actress Kenny Award-winning performance last year in the WOADS production of the Tennessee Williams play 'Suddenly Last Summer'.
